IDPM was engaged by Wunderman Australia to undertake the project and cost management services for their new office fitout and relocation into 35 Clarence Street, Sydney.

This project was an extremely fast tracked fitout with only three months from design freeze to handover. We knew we all had a challenge as our client had to relocate with no extension available. Our only solution was to develop what we call an ‘accelerated program’ which applies a lot pressure on the design creation, client decision making process and construction fitout.
The capex was also tested due to the partial activity based work (ABW) environment, so we needed to value engineer a design solution within budget. Typically ABW workplaces are more expensive due to the additional facilities required to accommodate the increased population density and additional built settings necessary to compliment the flexible environment.
This project was successfully delivered by IDPM by way of the traditional project delivery method where a competitive Head Contract bid is sought from the market place based on select tendering method, to ensure our client is achieving best value for money.
The design features sit stand project tables, hush rooms, custom made booths, large town hall area for events and staff break out, elaborate audio visual infrastructure, custom graphics and graffiti street art.
